Tour Itinerary: 1 Day Kings Canyon 4WD Tour

Departing from your Alice Springs accommodation at 5.30am, we travel along the Stuart Highway before heading across the Ernest Giles 4WD dirt road, experiencing the true remoteness of Outback Australia.

We stop for breakfast at Kings Creek Station, a working cattle/camel station. After a short drive we embark on a spectacular 3 hour, 6 km guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk. An unguided alternative walk, the Kings Creek Walk, is also available.

Take in the spectacular views from the top of the Canyon while learning about the early explorers and geology. Walk between the sandstone cliffs to the Garden of Eden, a tropical oasis with a natural spring waterhole surrounded by lush exotic plant life.

After lunch at Kings Canyon Resort we travel back to Alice Springs taking in the changing colours of the sunburnt landscape as the sun sets in Central Australia.
